What would you consider to be your 15 minutes of fame so far in life?

 

Definitely when I won 3 awards at my Grade 12 graduation - Spanish award, history award and Governor General's medal for the highest average in my graduating class (97%). That day I also received the money for the awards I won in Grade 10 and 11, and they announced that I received a $20,000 Chancellor's scholarship for the University of Saskatchwan.

There have been other times as well, such as after my dance recitals at the Centennial when I'm surrounded by a large amount of family giving me flowers.

Nothing on a national or global scale, unfortunately.

People do many different things to cope with stress, loss, and "bumps in the road". How do you handle stress and hard times?

By a love interest, never. But if you count all the friends I've had who've kind of abandoned me throughout my life and all the crappy experiences I had in elementary school, then lots. :(

Who is the very first friend you ever had?  Are you still in touch?

Probably Marzieh. She left our school in grade 5 to go back to Tehran, Iran. We still e-mail each other. I miss her alot.

Did you see the Harry Potter movie this weekend?  Are you going to read the new book?

Yes. It was incredible. The ministry of magic, the battle scenes, Harry (*swoon*), Luna, everything. Of course, there's a lot I could critique about it too, but nevertheless I was enamored.

And yes. But I'm terrified.
